Non-Medical Prescribing Updates

Buckinghamshire Health Care NHS Trust in partnership with Oxford Brookes University are pleased to offer a selection of taught and online (e-learning) Non-Medical Prescribing update sessions for Community Practitioner Nurse Prescribers (V100 and V150) and Independent Nurse Prescribers (V300) employed by Buckinghamshire Health Care NHS Trust.

The update sessions are open to all qualified Community Practitioner Nurse Prescribers (V100 and V150): Case Managers, District Nurses, Health Visitors, School Nurses, Children’s Community Nurses and Independent Nurse Prescribers (V300), working in Buckinghamshire Health Care NHS Trust.

Course Fees

The Community Practitioner Nurse Prescriber / Independent Nurse Prescribing Updates are funded by Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust.

Specific Entry Requirements

To access an update you must fulfil the following criteria:

  • Be a registered health or social care professional employed by Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust,
  • Be a registered and qualified non-medical prescriber (V300, V150 or V100),
  • Have the agreement of your line manager and non-medical prescribing lead to attend. Failure to do so may make you personally liable to pay the £50 course fee.

Dates for the online (e-learning) Non-Medical Prescribing Updates

Please note it is expected that the online (e-learning) course will require a minimum of six hours of effort over a two-week period.
We recommend that you have high speed access to the internet (broadband) and headphones / speakers for the sound.
