This course offers an introduction to cancer care for registered health professionals that work in a variety of care settings. It enables you to develop the essential knowledge and understanding required to care for patients with cancer, and provides an opportunity for students to reflect upon their role in supporting patients with cancer in the context of the multi-disciplinary team. This module uses a blended approach to facilitate learning, including online learning activities.

Successful completion of this course allows you to exit with credit for Essentials of Cancer Care, which is 15 CATS Credits at Level 6.

Completion of the course will enable you to provide evidence of knowledge and understanding of cancer care. Credit may be used from this course towards the Graduate Certificate in Cancer Nursing or the Student Designed Award degree programme (HC30).
