Kathleen Malkin

Kathleen completed a BA hons in Social Science, before commencing her RGN at St. Georges Hospital London. Kathleen has since been awarded an MSc in Nursing Studies, by the Faculty of Medicine at Manchester University, and an Orthopaedic Nursing Certificate from the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre Oxford. Kathleen is currently working as a senior lecturer in the Department of Clinical Health Care, Faculty of Health and Life Science. Previous posts include, Ward Sister in Orthopaedics / Trauma at the Royal East Sussex Hospital and Lecturer Practitioner at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre Oxford. Kathleen also spent a year working as a nurse in Lausanne Switzerland. She is currently acting as the link for the Department with the Dyslexia Service in Oxford Brookes.
