Students and staff celebrate course success

Students were celebrating at both our Ferndale and Marston Road sites last week following their successful completion of the Return to Practice course in Nursing, Midwifery and Health Visiting.

The course enables qualified health care professionals, who have previously been on the UKCC/NMC Register but have had a career break of three years or more, to return to the appropriate part of the Register and enter clinical practice as a safe, competent practitioner.

To mark their achievements, the students were addressed by Liz Westcott, Head of the Department of Clinical Healthcare, and then presented with their certificates. Following this, the students enjoyed light refreshments alongside their friends and families.
